GREEN TWP. - In need of a change, or a spark, Oak Hills' lacrosse program turns over a new leaf this season in hopes of ending a two-year stretch of losing seasons in its infancy.
To do that, the Highlanders turn to new coach Nick Hornback, who's in his second season as head coach, but his first on Ebenezer Road.
Back from a team that finished 2-14 last season, Oak Hills has Max Scherra, Jake Seifert, Matt Kessling, Jake Bush, Tyler Lohmiller, Ben Carter, Jake Rice, and Andy Busker returning to the starting lineup.
According to Hornback, Scherra's a dynamic offensive player, already holding most of the school's scoring records, and closing in on the rest.
Oak Hills also added transfer Christian Vanover, who Hornback said has already emerged as a leader, while being new to the school and district.
