Coach Ryan Quinn

We are excited to announce Ryan Quinn as the next Head Coach of our Wrestling program (pending School Board approval)!   He brings High School and College Coaching experience to the Highlanders.  He is a 2010 graduate of Oak Hills where he was a 2 time State Qualifier and went on to be a Varsity Letter-winning Wrestler for MAC Champion, Central Michigan.

Athletic Director, Tony Hemmelgarn, had this to say about Coach Quinn, “What stood out about Ryan was not only his passion for the sport, but for his commitment to developing young men and pushing them to create a great program experience.  He will also be a teacher in our District.  He loves kids.  He loves wrestling. I predict big things from Ryan and our program!”

His vision includes uniting the Oak Hills community from the youth level through high school so everyone is excited about the prospect of competing and succeeding at Oak Hills and in the  challenging GMC.  Coach Quinn had this to say, “It is with great enthusiasm and passion that I accept the Head Wrestling position for my High School alma mater. This school district and wrestling program provided me with numerous opportunities. It’s an honor to give back and continue the great tradition of Highlander wrestling.  Our student-athletes will not only compete for championships but they will learn what it takes to become men and women of integrity and character. I would like to thank the Oak Hills administration for giving me this opportunity. On Highlanders!  ”

Information will be coming soon about a "Meet The Coach" moment!  Hope you are working hard, Highlanders!
