Ben Hageman is entering his 24th year with the Oak Hills Local School District, spending the last 4 as the Director of Athletics.  During those 4 years, Hageman has worked extensively to incorporate his vision of educational-based athletics into the culture of Oak Hills.  He has led numerous facility projects in the athletic department that continue to provide students of Oak Hills with the best opportunities to train and compete.   

During his time in the classroom, he coached football and basketball, in addition to track and field. Most recently he served as Co-Head Coach of both the girl's and the boy's track programs. He was named GMC Coach of the Year in 2004. During his head coaching tenure, Highlanders athletes broke 25 school track records.

 Along with his wife Shellie, he founded the OHYA Track and Field program in the Oak Hills district that provides opportunities for athletes to compete in grades K-6.  

 Professionally, Hageman was a Co-Department Chair in the English department where he taught AP Seminar and Journalism, in addition to working with the school's newspaper, The Tartan.

 He is a master teacher in the state of Ohio and has his Lead Teacher Endorsement from the University of Cincinnati. In addition to his Bachelor of Science degree in Education and Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature, he also holds a Master's degree in Educational Foundations.  

 Prior to teaching, Hageman worked in a Public Affairs Office in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Saratoga.

 He currently lives in the Oak Hills School District with his wife and their three daughters, Julia (17), Annabelle (15), and Josie Bea (9).

Coach Branson was a decorated wrestler for Bellarmine University and was a 4-year wrestling team captain.  When his career was completed, he held records for most career wins and most career pins.  He was the first Bellarmine wrestler to be a National Qualifier, was 1st-Team All-GLVC and two-time 2nd Team All-GLVC, while being a Dean's list student-athlete.

Coach Branson began his coaching career at Anderson High School prior to coming to Oak Hills. He is entering his 3rd year as Oak Hills head coach.

Jackie has been teaching and coaching varsity softball since 2006. On top of a D1 collegiate career, she competed professionally in the states, as well as abroad. Prior to coming to Oak Hills, she taught in Three Rivers Local School District and coached at Mount Notre Dame High School.

Throughout her coaching career she has been named Coach of the year multiple times (GMC/GGCL) as well as Southwest Coach of the Year, Reds High School Softball Coach of the Year and Enquirer Coach of the Year.

Jackie currently owns D1 Catching Academy where she trains catchers from around the Tri-state. She graduated from Cleveland State University in 2005 with a Bachelor's of Arts, and has a Master's Degree (+30)  from the University of New England.

Jackie is a 2012 Oak Hills Hall of Fame Inductee and is a 2001 graduate of Oak Hills High School, where she was a three sport varsity letter winner. Jackie has two children, Kameron and Kennedy who both attend Oak Hills schools. Jackie and her family reside in Bridgetown

Coach DeLotell is in his first season as Head Coach of the Highlanders Girls Basketball Program. He is a 2012 graduate of Mason High School, where he played basketball all four years. After high school, Coach DeLotell attended and graduated from Northern Kentucky University, where he served as a Manager for the Mens Basketball Team and received a degree in Social Studies Education. Prior to coming to Oak Hills, DeLotell was at Anderson High School for 3 years, where he was the Boys Freshmen Coach. Once becoming a Highlander, DeLotell coached with the Boys Program for 5 years, as a Varsity Assistant, and JV Coach. He made the switch before the 2022-23 season and became the Varsity Assistant for the Girls Program for one season. Coach DeLotell currently lives in Springfield Township with his wife Brittany, and their 1 year-old son, J.P.

Head Coach DJ Dunn is in his 2nd year as head of the boys' lacrosse program.  He is a former Highlander who graduated in 2015.  He started playing lacrosse in 2011 with the Westside Wildcats and was part of the inaugural season as a freshman at OH in 2012 when the Highlanders started the boys' lacrosse program.  Coach Dunn played lacrosse for all four years of his high school career and was an assistant on staff for Highlander lacrosse for 2 years prior to taking over as head coach.

Teri Egbers is the Girls' Varsity Golf Coach.  She has been the head, varsity coach since 2016.   She was the Oak Hills Middle School Girls' golf coach for 4 years & the Bridgetown Middle School Boys' golf coach prior to moving to varsity. The goal of Oak Hills Girls Golf is to inspire young ladies to learn and enjoy the sport of golf and it's diverse athletic and emotional challenges and successes. Building comradery & self-esteem is foremost, while improving golf skills. Teri is an Oak Hills Alum who lives, works & coaches in Oak Hills. She is the counselor at Bridgetown Middle School.  She and her husband, Dan, have 4 children with diverse athletic talents in golf, soccer, lacrosse & cheerleading.

Ryan Enzweiler serves as an Athletic Trainer at Oak Hills High School.  He is originally from Northern Kentucky and is an alumni of Bishop Brossart  High School graduating in 2011. My name is Robin Hoernschmeyer, I’ve been the Head Girls Bowling Coach at Oak Hills High School since 2012.  I am a 2005 Oak Hills graduate who attended the University of Cincinnati earning my degree in Middle Childhood Education.  I spent 6 years as a substitute teacher in the Oak Hills Local School District before making a move into the nonprofit world. I am currently the Development Assistant at Ohio Valley Voices; a school in Loveland where children who are deaf and hard of hearing learn to listen and talk.  I myself am an avid bowler, bowling pretty much my entire life. I rolled my first perfect 300 game in 2021 at Western Bowl!  I was a member of the Oak Hills Girls Varsity Bowling team from 2003-2005. During the 2004-2005 season my team and I advanced to the state tournament, placing 5th as a team and I placed 2nd overall individually.  I grew up in Delhi and still live in Delhi with my family and our 5 pets. During my coaching career I have had 3 teams place 1st in the GMC, I have received the GMC Coach of the Year twice, have had numerous bowlers make 1st and 2nd team All-Conference, and have had 1 bowler advance to the State Tournament individually. Last year was the largest turnout for the girls bowling program and I am looking forward to another incredible season with our bowlers!

Coach McCarthy is a 2016 graduate of Oak HIlls where she was a member of the volleyball team all 4 years.  As a player, Coach McCarthy was 1st team GMC as a junior and senior and the leader in assists until this past season when Riley Broughton broke her record. Coach McCarthy has followed her passion for volleyball and is currently coaching two school teams in addition to club volleyball for CYVBC Surge.  Coach McCarthy brings a wealth of excitement and enthusiasm for the sport of volleyball and has a passion for Oak Hills!

Welcome Coach Meyer! 

Coach Meyer returns to his alma mater to take over as head men’s volleyball coach.   He was a three-year varsity player.  He served as captain during the 2013 season, where the Highlanders were GMC champs, as well as in 2014 when the team made it to the regional finals.  During his career, he compiled numerous school records, including being in the top ten in serve attempts, aces, and kill efficiency.  He still holds the top spot in assist per game, assists per match, assist per season and assist in a career.  

During his coaching career, he served as an assistant coach under Brian Baugh at Oak Hills before transitioning to the assistant coach role at LaSalle.  Coach Meyer has a strong understanding of the history and traditions of Oak Hills to go along with a tremendous passion for volleyball and youth development.  

“I am beyond excited to be back, and cannot wait to  start building an elite program not only for the GMC but throughout the state,” said Coach Meyer.

Katie Miller is the Lead Athletic Trainer for Oak Hills High School. Katie is an alumni of Oak Hills graduating in 2003. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Athletic Training from the College of Mount St. Joseph in 2007. She has worked for Beacon Orthopedics and Sports Medicine since graduating from college. She has previously worked in the Physical Therapy Clinic at the West office and covered several area high schools before coming to Oak Hills in 2011.  Ron Murphy is a highly experienced and accomplished baseball coach with over 18 years of coaching experience, including 16 years as a head coach. Additionally, he was an active member of the J.B. Yeager Baseball Association Board from 2008 to 2017, serving as president from 2012 to 2017.

 Coach Murphy is a lifelong Highlander, playing football, basketball and baseball for Oak Hills High School. He played baseball at Oak Hills from 1986 to 1989. His team earned three league titles and he was named all-conference three years. Murphy was student-athlete of the year in 1989, earning the first Highlander Award. He was inducted into the Oak Hills High School Athletics Hall of Fame in 2015. Coach Murphy also played for the Budde Post American Legion team, which won the American Legion World Series in 1988.

 After graduating from high school, Coach Murphy earned a scholarship to play baseball at Ball State University from 1989 to 1993. During his time at Ball State, he was a four-year starter, playing both infield and outfield positions. He was BSU’s Rookie of the Year in 1990, as well as being named MAC Hitter of the Week multiple times in 1993. Additionally, he earned All-Conference awards in 1991, 1992 and 1993.   

 Following his playing career, Murphy transitioned into coaching; where he has served as a head coach for the J.B. Yeager Baseball organization for 16 years. Under his coaching, J.B. Yeager Baseball accumulated over 400 wins and 40 tournament championships. Additionally, under his coaching, over 20 former players have gone on to play baseball at the collegiate level. 

 Ron and his wife Mindy, also a 1989 graduate, have three children Tyler (2018), Tanner (2020) and Trenton (2024), all of whom have attended Oak Hills High School and have played baseball for the Highlanders.

Coach Roden is a veteran coach with 19 years of experience, during that time he led East Central High school to a 4A state championship in 2017, three regional championships, a state runner-up berth, and five Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference championships. He was the Indiana Football Coaches Association 4A Coach of the Year in 2017, and five-time EIAC Coach of the Year.

A defensive coordinator for the Highlanders in 2006-2008, Coach Roden spent a combined eight years as a head coach of Noblesville High School and East Central High School, both in Indiana. He served as a defensive backs coach at Colerain High School for five years, and was associate head coach at Mount Healthy High School and special teams coordinator for the College of Mount St. Joseph. 

In his seven years at East Central, he led teams to 35 wins and three consecutive regional championships, all firsts in the school's history. At Colerain, he was part of the 2004 state championship season. Besides spanning high school and collegiate programs, Coach Roden's coaching experience includes both small- and large-school experience.

Bill Schroer brings (10+) years of experience at the varsity level as a Varsity Assistant Coach.  He is also a long time club coach on the West Side of Cincinnati and is currently coaching three teams at Cincinnati West including two Academy Elite teams and one Academy Red team.  Athletic Director, Tony Hemmelgarn, had this to say about Coach Schroer, “We interviewed many quality candidates. What stood out about Bill was not only his passion for the sport, but for his commitment to developing young men and pushing them to create a great team and program experience.  I am excited to see what the future holds!”
 
His vision includes uniting the Oak Hills community from the youth level through high school so everyone is excited about the prospect of competing and succeeding at Oak Hills and in the  challenging GMC.  Coach Schroer say, “I am excited for the opportunity of leading my alma mater, as a former player and graduate of Oak Hills High School. I look forward to the challenge of pushing our student athletes to achieve success in both the classroom and on the pitch.”
 
He is married to Lynn and has two boys Nicholas (13) and Michael (9).

Coach Spraul is a 2007 graduate of Oak Hills High School.  He played club soccer growing up and played at Oak Hills.  Coach Spraul went on to play four years in college at both Urbana University (NAIA) and Thomas More University (D3).  He is a 2011 graduate from Thomas More University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management.  Coach Spraul works at Oak Hills High School in the credit recovery program, and is the Executive Director of the Cincinnati West Soccer Club.  

Coach Spraul has been coaching youth soccer for over 10 years and began his successful, winning high school coaching career at Oak Hills.  He started at Oak Hills in 2012 as the JVB Women's Soccer Head Coach.  You can see his high school coaching resume below:

     2016-Present       Oak Hills Women's Varsity Soccer Head Coach (66-35-9 record to date, Has led the Highlanders to 2 district finals, 1 GMC Title and has had them state ranked and top in the city).       

Cumulative high school varsity coaching record:  88-44-13.

Coach Spraul currently resides in Delhi Township and holds a USSF "D" national coaching license
