 Benny Ruther            Boys' Golf         Fr.
Benny is currently averaging 41.7 (9 hole average) and is in the top 25 golfers in the GMC. Benny also plays for the Highlanders soccer team.

Allyson Hassett             Girls Cross Country                Sr.
For the second year in a row, Allyson was voted team captain by her peers, showing the respect her teammates have for her. She is a strong leader on the team and has been especially helpful in welcoming and supporting our new athletes, particularly the freshmen. After an incredible track season and a summer of hard work, Allyson has shown tremendous determination while dealing with an injury that could have ended her season. Despite the setback, she continues to train, compete, and push herself each day. She is also an outstanding student, ranking in the top 5% of her class while challenging herself with a demanding schedule of AP courses.

Lincoln Schreiber                Football                       Sr.
Lincoln started game with 10 completions in a row, and ended going 13 for 16 passing for 265 yards and 5 TD's. He rushed for 33 yards on 3 carries and a TD. He led our offense to 49 points in the first half, accounting for 6 total TD's. Lincoln is a three sport athlete and has had a great start to his senior season of football. He also has a 4.51 GPA.

Cordell Ball                 Football                      Jr.
Cordell had 6 receptions for 134 yards and 3 TD's while mostly being triple covered. He was also an impressive 3 for 4 passing.

Chase Brady               Boys' Soccer                 Jr.
Chase came back from injury on Thursday against La Salle. In his return he scored the opening goal as well as assisting the final goal to help lead the Highlanders to their first win of the season over La Salle 3-0.

Audrey Schnorbus                   Girls Tennis                  Sr.
Senior, Audrey Schnorbus, had to step up the last week with some injuries on the team. After a couple grueling matches at first singles, she earned a 6-1, 6-4 win over Sycamore at second singles. In addition to tennis, Audrey is a member of student council executive board, NHS, German Honor Society, and a member of the Academic Team.  After high school Audrey wants to major in chemistry.

Aleah Coster                    Girls'  Soccer                    Sr.
Aleah came up big when the Highlanders needed her most, scoring the game-winning goal with just four minutes remaining to secure a 1-0 victory over Walnut Hills. As one of the team’s captains, Aleah brings much more than leadership. She is the engine in the midfield, connecting the team and helping drive the Highlanders forward. Her impact extends beyond the soccer field as well, Aleah is a multi-sport athlete and a state placer in Cross Country.
