Charlie has proven to be a valuable member of our varsity in his first year on the team! He has done particularly well helping our team in the alphabet round of our matches! Great work Charlie!
Leah Maly Girls' Bowling Jr.
Leah Maly has had a great start to 2026! Leah currently sits 13th in the GMC with an average of 158.6 pins per game. This past week, she rolled the highest individual game of the Fairfield match with a 200; then at the Centerville Sweet 16 tournament, she was 17th overall, on a very challenging pattern, averaging 172 pins per game.
Katie Bacon Girls' Bowling Jr.
Katie Bacon had an outstanding performance at the match with Princeton last Thursday. Katie led the Varsity A team with a series of 381 pins, averaging 191 pins per game, which is 40 pins above her current season average.
Brecken Hilsinger Boys' Basketball Soph
Brecken is a very rare 4 sport athlete (Boys' Basketball, Boys' Track, Boys' Soccer and Football). Brecken competes hard, has greatly improved as the season has progressed, and he's a great teammate. Also, he serves as a Basketball Buddy to Elementary School student, attends FCA, and is an active member of S.A.L.T. (Student Leadership). Brecken has earned a 4.21 GPA.
Dillon Ditton Boys Wrestling Soph
Dillon went 4-0 with three pins and a tech fall to claim first place at the Sycamore Invitational in the 120-pound weight class.
August Foland Boys Swimming Sr
August Foland- led the men’s team to a 4th place overall finish out of 46 teams at the biggest swim meet in the nation, the Southwest Ohio Classics. He placed 3rd in both of his individual events, making him our top male point scorer and posting best times in each.
Lily Foland Girls' Swimming Soph
Lily led the women’s team to a 4th place overall finish out of 41 teams at the biggest swim meet in the nation, the Southwest Ohio Classics. She placed top 16 in both of her individual events, making her our top point female scorer and posting best times in each.
Bella Dehner Girls' Basketball Sr
Bella scored 10 and 12 points this week in a win over Fairfield and loss at Princeton. Bella has been a huge part of the team's success as the primary ball handler and second leader scorer. Bella is a multi-sport athlete and will be playing soccer at the college level after high school.
Gavin Johnson Boys' Bowling Sr
Gavin had an amazing weekend averaging 200 over 2 different tournaments helping the Highlanders finish 3rd and 2nd this past weekend. This season Gavin has been a solid leader on the team, and a great teammate as well.
