Oak Hills Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Criteria

NOMINATIONS DUE BY: May 1, 2027

Mission:  To recognize and honor individuals who have excelled and accomplished extraordinary achievements as Oak Hills High School athletes.  

 Athlete nomination criteria:  

• Must have graduated from Oak Hills High School.
• The Nominee must have graduated from Oak Hills at least 7 years prior to the date of induction.  
• Must have made a significant contribution to their respective athletic teams while a student of Oak Hills High School.  
• Should have been recognized for their high school accomplishments during their era
• All-State, All-City, 1st Team All-Conference, School Record Holder, Outstanding statistical achievement, excelled as a multi-sport athlete

 Coach nomination criteria:

• Must have coached within the Oak Hills Local School District for a minimum of five years.
• Must have been recognized as Coach of the Year in the League, local media and/or Athletic Associations.  
• Must have coached a team to a League, District, Regional, or State Championship.  

Meritorious Service nomination criteria:

• Must have made a significant and lasting impact on the athletic programs of Oak Hills High School.
• Service to the school should have lasted at least 10 years.  

 Awards Committee:  A committee of current Hall of Fame members and Athletic Department personnel will evaluate all applications.  Applicants will be evaluated by the outlined criteria. Non-selected nominations will be kept on file for five years for future consideration.
