Berk Drops 20 In Win Over Vikings

On Friday, boys varsity basketball had a big GMC matchup at home vs Princeton. The Vikings came in with a 8-2 record being 5-1 in the GMC. The Highlanders had a huge 3rd quarter having their biggest lead of the game up 23. Oak Hills shot great from the floor shooting 58% from the field and 56% from 3. It was a great team effort with four Highlanders in double figures. Jacob Berkemeier put up 20 points along with 6 rebounds, Kelen Dietrich scored 16 points, Zach Moeller had 12 points with 6 rebounds, and Camden Brandt put up 11 points. The team outrebounded the Vikings and distributed the ball great with 14 assists. This resulted to a 69-54 win and puts them in a 3 way tie for first place in the conference standings. The Highlanders are back with a huge game on Tuesday, January 15 at Lakota East.
