Highlander Nominees for Beacon Orthopaedic Athletes of the Week

Congratulations to the Highlanders who were nominated this week as Beacon Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Team/Athletes of the Week!  Please VOTE for them until 4pm on Friday!
 
Top Ohio Girls' Team of the Week
Oak Hills Cross Country – The Highlanders scored 43 points to win Sycamore’s Stoneberger Invitational by 17 points.
 
Top Ohio Big School Football Player of the Week
Aaron McFarland, Oak Hills - The senior caught four passes for 141 yards, including an 84-yard touchdown, and had a 55-yard rushing touchdown in a win over Hamilton.
 
Top Ohio Girls' Golfer of the Week
Lexi Holzbacher, Oak Hills – The junior had an 80 Walden Ponds in the Division I sectional, advancing to districts as the top qualifier.
 
Top Ohio Big School Boys' Soccer Player of the Week
Skyler Kesterman, Oak Hills – The junior scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win over Princeton.
 
Top Girls Tennis Singles Player of the Week
Paige Lint, Oak Hills – The freshman landed on the GMC all-conference first team in second singles.
