We have a big group of Highlanders nominated in the Cincinnati.com Athletes of the Week poll this week! Please VOTE for all of our athletes until 4p on Friday!

Top Girls' Spring Team of the Week

Oak Hills track – The Highlanders hosted and won the Best of the West, scoring 153 points to top Seton by five points.

Top Ohio Big-School Softball Player of the Week

Abby Bode, Oak Hills – The senior, who leads the Greater Miami Conference in average, home runs and runs batted in, went 3-for-4 with three runs, including a home run, and an RBI in the 7-0 win over Fairfield May 4. She also went 2-for-3 with three runs scored, including two home runs, in the 9-3 win over Hamilton May 5.

Top Ohio Big-School Boys Lacrosse Player of the Week

Garrett Kessling, Oak Hills – The junior had a hat trick in the 16-4 loss to Lakota West May 3 and had two goals and two assists in the 6-5 win over Seven Hills May 6.

Top Ohio Doubles Tennis Team of the Week

Paul Nienaber/Paul Miller, Oak Hills – The pair of Highlanders won a first singles match over Moeller on May 3.

Top Ohio Boys' Track & Field Athlete of the Week

Brayden Holland, Oak Hills – He won the 400 meters at the Best of the West meet in 49.62 seconds and placed second in the 200 meters.

Top Ohio Girls' Track & Field Athlete of the Week

Leni Sullivan, Oak Hills – She won the 400 meters at Best of the West in 1:02.33.
