Jesse Morris, M.D. is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. He treats a wide range of orthopaedic conditions, particularly those affectingthe shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle. He has specialized interest in fracture care, shoulder arthroplasty, rotator cuff and labrum pathology, hip preservation, cartilage restoration, ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, and instability surgery. He also performs robotic-assisted total and partial knee replacements in order to ensure customized planning with improved precision for each individual patient.
Dr. Morris practices at multiple Beacon Orthopaedics locations, including Western Hills, Finneytown, Batesville, and Lawrenceburg. He holds medical licenses in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
Following his undergraduate studies at Wofford College, where he was a pitcher for their Division 1 baseball team, Dr. Morris completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He pursued further specialization in Orthopaedics through a residency at The Ohio State University. He then completed a prestigious Orthopaedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of North Carolina/Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic.
Dr. Morris is actively engaged in the field of sports medicine through athletic coverage, serving as the head team physician for Oak Hills High School, South Dearborn High School, and Lawrenceburg High School. Dr. Morris is also serving as one of the Orthopaedic Surgeons and Team Physicians for Mount Saint Joseph University athletics.
Dr. Morris takes pride in utilizing the latest techniques and technology to help patients achieve optimal recovery, particularly through minimally invasive approaches when possible. His approach to patient care is centered on providing personalized treatment plans that are both effective and compassionate, ensuring each patient receives the highest quality of care.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Morris enjoys spending his free time with his wife Meredith, his son Brady, and their chocolate lab Nala. They love to spend time outdoors and travel as much as possible. In his free time, Dr. Morris enjoys golfing and chipping away at a never-ending list of house and yard projects.
The athletes we have partnered to serve receive first class care with daily coverage of practices and games from Certified Athletic Trainers. Athletic Trainers provide prevention, management, and rehabilitative services to our athletes, as well as sideline care when necessary. Each Athletic Trainer works under the guidance of the team’s Medical Director, and should it be needed, an appointment with a fellowship trained Sports Medicine Physician is made available immediately or within 24 hours, depending on the severity of the injury.
