Jimmy John's Players of the Week!

Posted on: January 28, 2020
JJPOW

Congrats to this week's Jimmy John's Players of the Week!

Emma Thomas         Sr.          Girls' Basketball

The senior captain came off the bench in two games this week and helped lead Oak Hills to a 61-60 upset win over the top team in the GMC, Princeton. Emma added 7 points, 1 steal, 1 rebound and 1 assist and played 22 minutes off the bench in the loss to Fairfield and followed up that performance with her best defensive effort of the season against Princeton, also grabbing a rebound and helping to defeat the Vikings. Her quality minutes off the bench vs. Princeton was one of the key reasons why Oak Hills won the game, and she has provided valuable minutes off the bench all season long. Emma is also an outstanding student, with a 3.95 GPA and holds down a part-time job in addition to her school and basketball commitments.

Cam Brandt          Sr.           Boys' Basketball

The senior tri-captain contributed 39 points, 12 assists, and 10 rebounds in 3 games this past week. The team had wins against Elder and Colerain while playing well but losing at LaSalle, 50-45. Cam is a multi-sport athlete (baseball/basketball) with a 3.4 GPA.
