Email: rhoernschmeyer@gmail.com
My name is Robin Hoernschmeyer, I’ve been the Head Girls Bowling Coach at Oak Hills High School since 2012. I am a 2005 Oak Hills graduate who attended the University of Cincinnati earning my degree in Middle Childhood Education. Many students have seen me around as I was a substitute teacher in the district for 6 years before taking a full-time coordinator position with the American Cancer Society. I myself am an avid bowler, bowling pretty much my entire life. I was a member of the Oak Hills Girls Varsity Bowling team from 2003-2005. During the 2004-2005 season my team and I advanced to the state tournament, placing 5th as a team and I placed 2nd overall individually. I grew up in Delhi and still live in Delhi with my family and our 7 pets. During my coaching career I have had 3 teams place 1st in the GMC, I have received the GMC Coach of the Year twice and have had numerous bowlers make 1st and 2nd team All-Conference. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with so many outstanding student athletes at Oak Hills and cannot wait to see what next season holds! ![]() |

Rob Vaske | Academic Team | Varsity Head Coach | Email: vaske_r@ohlsd.org | more details |
Email: vaske_r@ohlsd.org
I have coached the Academic Team since 2013. I am currently sharing the coaching responsibilities with Mike Taylor. My overall record in 7 seasons is 50-58. The easiest answer if you are wondering. Academic Team is like Jeopardy for High School students except that it is played as a team of 4. I absolutely love coaching these students. They are very self motivated amazing young people and if we have to make a stop when traveling, people are always very complimentary on how well behaved and polite they are. They always make me proud to be a Highlander.
Personally, I am an Eastsider having graduated from Moeller High School. I then earned a Bachelor's Degree in German Studies from the University of Cincinnati. After a career of working in construction materials distribution, I went back to school and earned a Master's of Education from Xavier University and have been at Oak Hills since 2013 as one of the German teachers. I am married and have 3 boys. The oldest already graduated from Moeller and the other two attend St Michaels in Sharonville.
