Robin Hoernschmeyer Girls Bowling Head Coach more details
Email: rhoernschmeyer@gmail.com

My name is Robin Hoernschmeyer, and I’ve proudly served as the Head Girls Bowling Coach at Oak Hills High School since 2012. I’m a 2005 Oak Hills graduate and went on to earn my degree in Middle Childhood Education from the University of Cincinnati.

After spending six years as a substitute teacher in the Oak Hills Local School District, I transitioned into the nonprofit world. I currently work as the Development Office Manager at Ohio Valley Voices, a school in Loveland where children who are deaf or hard of hearing learn to listen and speak.

Bowling has always been a big part of my life—I’ve been bowling for as long as I can remember. One of my proudest moments was rolling my first perfect 300 game in 2021 at Western Bowl. As a student at Oak Hills, I was a member of the Girls Varsity Bowling Team from 2003–2005. During the 2004–2005 season, my team placed 5th at the state tournament, and I placed 2nd overall as an individual.

I grew up in Delhi and still live there with my family and our five pets. Coaching has been a deeply rewarding experience. Over the years, I’ve led four teams to first-place finishes in the GMC, received the GMC Coach of the Year award four times, and coached numerous athletes who earned 1st and 2nd Team All-Conference honors. I’ve also had one bowler qualify for the State Tournament as an individual.

In addition to coaching the Lady Highlanders, I continue to stay involved with the OHYA bowling program, which had over 170 youth bowlers last season! Last year marked the largest turnout ever for the girls bowling program at Oak Hills, and we already have more than 20 athletes signed up for the 2025-2026 season! I’m excited for another incredible season ahead with our team and to see where it takes us!

Amanda Biser Matscots Head Coach more details
Email: biser_a@ohlsd.org
  • Amanda Biser is a proud Oak Hills alumna and a dedicated leader within the Highlander athletic community. A 1997 graduate of Oak Hills High School, Amanda was a Matscot and Oakette during her time as a student—roles that helped shape her passion for student leadership and team spirit. That passion has come full circle over the years, as she now enters her 16th year coaching the Oak Hills Matscots, continuing a long-standing family legacy deeply rooted in the district.

Amanda’s coaching journey spans more than 20 years, with additional experience coaching the Wrestlerettes at Colerain High School for six years and serving as a Statisticians coach at Harrison High School for two. Her leadership and dedication have helped shape one of the most respected spirit programs in the region. Under her guidance, the Oak Hills Matscots have been named the SWOWCA Outstanding Wrestlerette Squad of the Year an impressive ten times—a clear reflection of her commitment to excellence and pride in her program.

Her ties to Oak Hills run deep. Amanda's father, the late Dick Roche, served as the head wrestling coach at Oak Hills for 26 years. Her mother, Pat Roche, was her Matscot coach for three years. Even her brother, Matthew, left his mark on Oak Hills athletics as the first freshman wrestler in school history to qualify for the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. Amanda also grew up in the Oak Hills community, attending both C.O. Harrison Elementary and Delhi Middle School. Her parents served in the district for over three decades, making the Biser family's contributions to Oak Hills both longstanding and significant.

Beyond the gym, Amanda is an accomplished educator. She holds a B.A. in English Secondary Education from Eastern Kentucky University, where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta and danced with the university’s Dancing Colonels. She later earned her M.A. in Literacy from the University of Cincinnati and is currently pursuing her +30 certification through the Ohio Writing Project at Miami University.

Amanda lives in Harrison, Ohio, with her husband Dan, and their two daughters, Madison (12) and Brooklyn (almost 8). She is not only a coach and educator but also a former youth cheerleading coach, further reflecting her passion for building confidence and character in young people. Her deep roots, infectious energy, and unwavering commitment continue to elevate Oak Hills Athletics year after year.

    GO HIGHLANDERS!
