Ryan Quinn has been actively coaching Wrestling since 2014.  His first two years of coaching include volunteer experiences at the High School and Youth levels – Montabella High School (MI) and Michigan West Wrestling Club.  As Ryan continued his education at Bethel College (IN), he was named the Head Middle School and Varsity Assistant Coach for Niles Community Schools (MI).  As head middle school coach for Ring Lardner, Coach Quinn developed young wrestlers in all technical aspects of the sport.  Coach Quinn also helped lead Niles to a top 4 team finish in the State of Michigan (Division II), as well as coached two all-state student athletes (6th & 2nd).

Upon the completion of the 2016-2017 wrestling season, Coach Quinn was named the Head Wrestling Coach of Ancilla College – a Junior College located in Plymouth Indiana.  In his one-year stint at Ancilla, Coach Quinn managed to have four NWCA NJCAA Academic All-Americans and one NJCAA National Qualifier.

Collegiately, Ryan competed for Central Michigan University – a Division I program.  While at CMU, he studied Biomedical Sciences and Chemistry and was a two-time Varsity letter-winner for the Chippewas.  Coach Quinn was also the Wrestling representative for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, where his involvement aided to bridge relations between CMU’s athletic programs and the Community.  Ryan Quinn was a two-time state qualifier for the Highlanders and graduated from Oak Hills in 2010.  Coach Quinn looks forward to giving back to the Oak Hills Community, while continuing the rich tradition of great wrestling for his Alma Mater. 2018 will be Coach Quinn's first season as the Highlanders Head Coach.
